Auto Restoration

Auto restorations are not just a part of our job, it’s our passion. As an avid muscle car restoration enthusiast Burkey has developed the special skills and the unique equipment and media to carefully remove paint from cars without the threat of metal warping. If you don’t know what you’re doing you can ruin a body panel before you know it, simply from ignorance. Be assured that if Burkey cleans up your car project we will take care of it like it’s ours, giving it the time and patience a good restoration job needs. We know how much time you’re committing to the project, and we understand how important your car is. Since we’ve been there too, we understand your anxiety over a major step like paint removal. You’re car is in good hands at Burkey. When you’re done with the restoration we want your car in our website.

Burkey’s own restoration of a 1965 Dodge Coronet.

Found in Colorado on a farm, this baby was carefully disassembled piece by piece. A brand new crate hemi motor from Dodge was installed and hooked up to the stock 4 speed Dodge transmission. The interior was completely recovered, new paint, new headliners, the works. This car has won several awards at various car shows and is featured in the August 2009 issue of Muscle Car magazine.

If you’ve got a similar project, stop by or give us a call. Lets talk about your plans and special needs for paint removal for your car restoration. We can give you tips on the whole process if this is your first auto restoration project.
